The case studies presented were part of a Summer School which took place in Herrsching close to Munich in May 2008. The idea of this Summer School was to train (occupational) health professionals from all around the world on the most important aspects of occupational health (OH). This might contribute to the improvement of workers' health across the world in the long run. Overall, 23 participants and 12 presenters formed the programme over a two week period. Everyone presented some aspects about occupational health in his/her home country and differences and similarities were discussed in different formats.
We hope that the information might not only be interesting for those who attended the course in 2008 but also for next years' participants and others!
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the summer school and the writing up of this reports. This includes everyone from the one who cleared the dishes to the German Academic Exchange Service who provided the funding. All of you contributed that this dream came true:
Team Work
is the ability to
work together
towards a common goal...
With that
Nothing is impossible.
